Isaac and the other lady were super helpful and kind with my questions about feeding hummingbirds. I also bought a small trinket and they gifted two bags of bird seeds to me. Would definitely recommend visiting!

Great store. Plenty of bird seed but so much more. Looking for something special and unique they just might have it.

Best in Central Iowa for feather friends needs. Feed is always fresh and top quality. Nice selection of feeders and houses.

We stopped in here while in the area yesterday and had the loveliest experience! We are from the Madison WI area and have been WBU members for over 8 years, but this was our first visit to the Ames IA location! Everyone was super friendly and helpful, and if we are ever in the area again will definitely stop by! Highly suggest this location to anyone needing bird food or supplies in Ames!

I went in and the gentleman helped me find the finch feed I needed, walked me through renewing my membership and offered to help me take my bags to my vehicle. Great store with a lot of options. It may be higher price than some places but the higher quality of items and seed makes up for it.
